Janette is the author of the Avondale series of novels, a fictitious village in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, the series charts the lives and loves of 4 young dedicated equestrian women and the men that appear in their lives. The first book, Riding the Dale, is based in and around Beckholme Stables on the edge of Avondale.

Janette has been an equestrian for over 50 years since the tender age of 9. She has three children and currently lives with her husband & their youngest son at their home in Yorkshire. The family have 3 horses of their own.

Hi there, I’m so pleased you’ve visited my website and I hope you like or will consider reading, my books. They have been a labour of love and something I wished I started earlier. The first book had been floating around my head for a long while before I opened that first blank word processing document and began to type.

I’ve loved horses since I was a little girl and have been lucky enough to indulge my passion more or less ever since.
