Wow, I can’t believe how time has passed. My last blog was so long ago, I thought I’d best take a break from writing book five to update it. I know! Book five! Who’d have thought when I first sat at my desk and announced to Stu that I was going to write a book, that I would have ended up writing five, up to now. to be honest, I won’t rule out a book six.
I was pushed for time and energy getting Christmas at Beckholme completed and published in time for Christmas with having Chucks eye operation. Anyone who is following my Facebook page will know the details, if you don’t, just pop onto my Janette Clennett Author, Facebook page, all the details are there.

To cap it all, just as he was due to be discharged from the hospital, we were flooded. Again, the images are on my Facebook page. It was horrendous!
Just after we received the bill from the amazing Rainbow Equine hospital, Beck our Friesian decided to give himself choke. Resulting in a chest infection. I gave Chuck four injections into his eye every four hours. Then, I found myself injecting Beck with penicillin for his chest infection. Honestly, I’ve seen enough needles to last me a lifetime.
So, looking ahead to this year this is the plan:
Book five is to be completed.

I also want to start taking the thoroughbreds out further afield and perhaps do a little jumping or cross country with them.
